⁶ He held fast^(A) to the Lord and did not stop following him; he kept the commands the Lord had given Moses.

⁷ And the Lord was with him; he was successful^(A) in whatever he undertook. He rebelled^(B) against the king of Assyria and did not serve him.

²⁹ He built villages and acquired great numbers of flocks and herds, for God had given him very great riches.^(A)
